📌  Session Introduction:

This session will focus on key scientific and technological challenges spanning fundamental research to industrial applications in coal chemical industry. 

By enhancing the efficiency of coal utilization and fully leveraging coal's potential as a chemical feedstock, the session aims to explore pathways for producing specialized products that are difficult or costly to manufacture through traditional petrochemical processes, and establish a high-end, differentiated product system. 

Key topics include: coal-to-liquids and coal-to-gas technologies, selective catalytic conversion of syngas, high-end coal-based chemicals, special coal-derived fuels, near-zero carbon emissions through coal conversion and renewable energy integration, value-added utilization of coal chemical wastewater and solid waste.
