The Asian Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineering Congress is a representative large-scale international event in the chemical engineering field for the Asia-Pacific region. In 2025, the 12th World Congress of Chemical Engineering and the 21st Asian Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineering Congress will take place simultaneously in Beijing, marking the first convening of the World Congress of Chemical Engineering in China. The theme for this year’s congress is “Paradigm Shifting in Chemical Engineering for Global Challenges.” The main topics will focus on global concerns such as "climate change, energy transitions, poverty eradication, and better living." The event has been approved by the State Council of China and is organized by the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China, with International Chemical Innovation EXPO 2025 (ICIE2025) held at the same time.
